Every big success story begins from small dream

Cambridge Group of Institutions was founded in 2001 by a team of zealous educators—Prof. Dr. Baban Choubey, Dr. Mohan Choubey, Mr. T. N. Choubey, and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar—who felt that the complete educational needs of children were not being met by existing public and private schools. They decided that this mission could best be achieved through the creation of a private, independent institution, and thus Cambridge School was established at Buxar, Bihar. Armed with a vision and boundless energy, and gaining credibility by the day, the institution made giant strides, grew rapidly in enrollment, quality, and community recognition, and soon outgrew its place of birth. It soon became obvious that a new location was needed, leading to the establishment of Cambridge School Dumraon.

Cambridge School Dumraon was started in 2009 to cater to the educational needs of the children of Dumraon. Within a short span of time, the school witnessed tremendous growth in both size and quality. The school received provisional affiliation from the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in 2017 and was upgraded to Senior Secondary (up to +2) in 2019. The first batch of Secondary students appeared in the 2018 board examination and achieved excellent results. The highest percentage was 97.20%, the best in the Buxar district. The Senior Secondary section of the school began in June 2019 under the CBSE curriculum, offering Commerce and Science streams.

Students’ remarkable performance in the CBSE board exams has proved its credibility as one of the best schools in the locality. Graduates of the school have gone on to reach the pinnacle of success in various fields.
